Email Design System
Picnic faced a problem with their email communications - the design was outdated and scattered with little consistency between emails. Therefore, my goal was to implement a design system for emails that would set a standard company-wide for use by designers and developers alike.
To begin, I helped devise a colour palette, header and paragraph styles, variable footers, and buttons. I compiled these elements into a Figma library which could be applied by toggling the assets on any new document.
From there, I created a generic email template with consistent padding and hierarchy amongst styles to provide the development team with a toolkit to consistently apply styling across all email designs.
Since 2022, we updated over 200 email designs and continue to implement the new design template across all email communications.
